CHOOSING CHRIST

Follow Jesus into the heart of God as we journey in the Gospels, based on the 19th annotation of the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius-Choosing Christ in the World.  We will walk, sit, listen, laugh, and cry as we accompany Jesus in His incarnation and discover our own story in His.

You will immerse in the Holy Narrarative for thirty-three weeks in daily sessions with Jesus, supported with prayer guides, Scripture, poems, readings, and time-tested prayer practices, as we follow the Church calendar.

You will identify and tend your deep longing to "see Jesus more clearly, love Him more dearly and follow Him more nearly,"; being transformed into the image of Christ by the power of His love for the healing and blessings of the world.

 

When: Bi-weekly Monday Sessions (Saratoga) Thursday Sessions (Santa Cruz)

Time: Santa Cruz Plus Zoom- 5:00-7:30 P.M.   

Opening Saturday Retreat:  Santa Cruz Bible Church, Saturday, September 19, 2026

Closing Retreat Combined: (Location TBD) May 08, 2027
Location: Santa Cruz Bible Church, Santa Cruz PLUS Zoom
Cost: $1,421 (if pay via Venmo/check) $1,465 (if pay by credit card/PayPal); alternative payment plan and financial assistance available if needed.

SPECIAL ZOOM OPTION: for individuals who want to participate but are out of the Santa Cruz area.  Or for leadership teams, ministerial fellowships, small church groups, men's or women's groups, or even a group of friends who want to grow together in Christ.
